In order to provide accurate annotations for TSS search results, we updated the annotation information stored in the SMW database.
As part of this revision, we excluded the Gene Description field from the TATA annotation to maintain consistency.

The refTSS website has been updated with the following updates and bug fixes.

Added a link to display the “LD block overlapped with query TSS” table in the GWAS trait of the GWASLD enrichment analysis results.
Fixed a bug in the TSS ID List table where the same TSS ID was split into different rows due to differences in Version 3 IDs.
Added new Use-case page, and revised the page layout in Manual and Use-cases.
In the TSS Detail page under Gene and protein annotation, changed “Transcript_name” and “Distance” to “Nearest transcript id and distance”, and added “Nearer transcript ids and distances.”
Updated the UCSC Genome Browser track information to display summit information for each TSS cluster.

The refTSS4 website interface and functions have been updated as follows:

The layout of the result table in refTSS-LD has been adjusted to better fit the page.
New download buttons (e.g., Copy, CSV, Excel, PDF) have been added to the refTSS-LD result page.
A new copy function for TSS coordinates (e.g., “chr11:16,607,714-16,607,737”) has been added to the “Chr,” “Start,” and “End” columns.

refTSS4 has been restored following hardware issues last month. Alongside hardware recovery, several specification changes have been implemented. Please note the following updates:

The refTSS-LD service has been restored, with changes to how test results are displayed (there are no changes to the test results themselves).
Improved speed and acceleration of TSS search functionality.
Fixed rare error message bug affecting annotation search results.
Corrected display issues with FANTOM5 expression tables.
Enabled TSS search queries with multiple IDs.
Updated the reference list on the top page.
Revised manual documentation.
Added the RIKEN Open Life Science Platform (OLSP) logo to the footer to support research funding.
